Gary L. Wyatt, Sr. recorded his first single entitled "Continue" that skyrocketed to #1 on Seattle's KNHC Gospel Showcase. Continue also was #365 on KCMS's Top 500 New Year's Eve countdown list. Gary became the most popular solo artist in the Pacific Northwest singing in mulitple churches, schools and also as the opening act for the major Gospel artist that came to the Northwest. Gary's follow up singles, "Genuine Joy", "24 Hours a Day", "Lord I Can Talk to You" also gained major radio play on KNHC and KCMS in Seattle. Gary was the only independent artist to ever receive major airplay on KNHC (Black Gospel) and KCMS (CCM).
Gary has recorded 24 solo recordings on his own independent label "Gold Glove Group", which was established with the assistance of former Seattle Mariner Harold Reynolds. He later formed Gary L. Wyatt Ministries where he also authored 6 books, "Restoring Order to Music Ministry", The Prayers of a Righteous Man, Vol. 1-4" and "The Art of Blending." His latest recording "Sermonic Renditions" is due to be released in the 4th quarter of 2016.
Highlights of Gary's ministry
Gary currently serves as the Founder and Leader of SureHouse OBC, a thriving ministry located in the inner city of Tacoma. He also serves as the Music Ministry Leader where he composes and leads worship. SureHouse OBC is the only church in the Pacific Northwest that minister all original music every week. This includes Praise and Worship music as well as Choir and solo music.
Gary resides in Spanaway Washington with his wife Cheryl who he married on November 7, 1979. They have 2 sons, Gary, II and Solomon, 2 daughter-in-laws, and 6 grandchildren. In this season Rev.
